OUR PRODUCT

How does it work?

Tru Niagen® supports your daily cellular health by increasing levels of a key molecule called NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide). It helps jumpstart the many reactions required to generate energy within our cells. That energy is then used to fuel every single thing we do from the blink of an eye to the balance of a leg on a beam.*

VITAL CELLULAR RESOURCE

You can’t make ATP without NAD

No matter how much training we do, the main energy source our muscles need to move is a molecule called ATP. How quickly we can regenerate ATP determines how much energy we can use and how long we have before it runs out. Without NAD, our bodies wouldn’t be able to make ATP, and ATP is cellular energy. When it comes to generating energy, NAD is just as important as the foods we eat.

CLINICALLY PROVEN

See the science

Tru Niagen® increases levels of the critical molecule cells need, NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide). Backed by more than 100 preclinical studies and more than five published human clinical trials, Tru Niagen® is clinically proven to increase NAD by 40%–50% after eight weeks.

Rigorous testing using internationally accepted safety protocols has confirmed the safety of our key ingredient NIAGEN®. Tru Niagen® products bearing the “NSF Certified for Sport®” seal undergo additional testing from NSF International for additional banned substances. Both the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) recognize NSF Certified for Sport.

–Shannon Sharpe, Pro Football Hall of Famer, Age 51

 This has been unbelievable.
I can honestly say it’s been a lifesaver.

HUMAN STUDY

Largest NIAGEN® Clinical Study

The fifth and largest published human trial on NIAGEN® confirms our key ingredient safely and effectively increases NAD levels. Although we know Tru Niagen® begins working to replenish NAD as soon as you take it, this study shows that it takes about two weeks to fully increase NAD to a new elevated level. With continued use, participants experienced a sustained 40%–50% increase in NAD levels by the end of the eight-week study.

Tru Niagen® increases NAD by 40–50% after 8 weeks

An athlete is only as strong as their cells. Professional athletes are required to deliver the highest levels of human performance. Such physical demands, coupled with rigorous travel schedules, can result in heightened metabolic stress at the cellular level. TRU NIAGEN® helps cells generate the energy they need to perform optimally, be resilient to stress, and maintain health.*

Here are some key ways NAD works to support cellular health and performance of athletes:

Cells require a constant supply of energy to perform at their best. NAD is an essential part of the energy-generating processes cells use to make ATP. NAD also promotes cellular repair and plays an important role in keeping our cellular powerhouses, the mitochondria, working efficiently.1-3

CELLULAR ENERGY + REPAIR

MUSCLE FUNCTION + RECOVERY

CIRCADIAN
RHYTHMS

For starters, NAD helps generate the cellular energy required for muscle contractions. It’s also been estimated that endurance runners regenerate their body weight in ATP over the course of a two-hour marathon. NAD is central to this process, both during exercise and the recovery process.4-6

We all know that poor or disrupted sleep can impact day-to-day performance. But circadian clocks are more than sleep/wake regulators. They are central to metabolic health. NAD levels are not only regulated by the circadian clock, but also help regulate its activity at a molecular level.7-9
